15, turning 16 - Survivor
PERSONALITY: She is a very loyal person, who would rather get ripped apart by walkers, then watch someone else do it. Violet loves self-expression, and as long as you're not a jerk, she'll love you for you. Violet is a good asset to a group because of her accepting nature. She is also rather quick-thinking. One of the biggest things about her is her creativeness.
She falls in love too easily, but she isn't one to show it. She'll love anyone, whether they're 15 or 42. She never thought age mattered, but her opinions always got her in trouble, so she stayed quiet about it. That is why she only had one boyfriend/husband. Now that the world is ending, she believes that there should be no discrimination, and that age no longer determines anything.
She doesn't know how to shoot a gun. However, she can be very crafty when it comes to weapons. Injuries like paper cuts don't really get to her, and she tries to ignore the bigger ones as best as she can until she can find something to help it. The fact that she's a small girl that can get what she wants by playing the innocent kid card helps too. Also, being smaller means she can crawl into uncomfortable places.

HISTORY: Her world started to tumble at only two years old. The woman who sang her fears away, the woman who rocked her into her favorite fantasies, and the woman who'd brought her into such a beautiful world.. disappeared. Violet was only a toddler when her mother went missing. Of course, she had her siblings, and her grandparents, and her father, but it wasn't the same. Her siblings were from another mother, and her grandparents lived in Europe. Her father tried as hard as he could; every night he would hum the same tune, rock her for hours, and try to keep her from crying. Unforunately, all the humming made her feel like her ears were cracking and leaking that messy red liquid, and all the rocking made her feel like she was about to be thrown off into the ocean. It was all lies to her. This whole life she was living, it was so strange to her. One minute she'd been floating through Neverland, and now she was trying to save her own hide in a pack of wolves. That's how she viewed it. Everyone around her was just another wolf. From being a pup to an adult, she was just a scavenger. All the others were so much more.. important.. and all she could do was wait for someone to accept her. Finally, in seventh grade, someone did.
He was just a scavenger too, the boy who noticed her, but they helped each other become alphas! How exciting that was. Finally, she could be accepted.. but as their time went on, they realized, they weren't betas, they weren't dark, they weren't shadowed, they were just hunters. They went out and did everything so they could stay away from the darkness, that loneliness they feared. Violet, however, dropped even lower.. She left her best friend, the one person who noticed her, and played along with a prank, such a stupid prank, that got him beat down. He felt so weak, so used, but at least she was important now.
When Violet went to see him again, as if everything was normal, he yelled at her. She was more than confused. She didn't understand what was wrong.. until he finally broke, and told her. His hide, the one she was helping him protect, was falling off of his skin. Her best friend was dying. A horrible condition was infecting his body. She didn't realize that what she'd done had revealed to everyone in their entire school that he had cancer. He was keeping it a secret. He didn't want any pity. He figured, when it was his time to go, it was his time to go, and he should carry on like normal until that time came.
The next day, Violet the Scouter faced those terrible alphas, screaming at them for what they tricked her into. Down the deltas came, snapping at her and pushing her deeper and deeper down in rank. Then they mentioned it. Violet's mother. One of them knew all about the story, all about Violet's secrets, one of them was Violet's half-sister. Violet Crowthorn's real name was Violeta Curua Spina de Diceto. She kept this a secret, because she felt like she was different enough, and went by Violet Crowthron. Her father had three jobs to make sure she had everything she wanted. Her mother was murdered. Plucked off the street, tainted and killed. She snapped, lunging at her 'sister' and slamming her into a wall. Violet's claws dug into her skin and her jaws snapped and spit and spewed out howls and growls.
The sister only got a mild concussion, while Violent was expelled from her middle school.
Freshman year of high school, Violet and her friend reunited. They realized, they were only omegas before.. Now though, together, they were the two alphas of their pack of two. That's how they made each other feel. Every glance they'd share sent their hearts pounding and stomachs fluttering. Finally, someone else could take her to Neverland.. but just as soon as that started, it ended. Now undead monsters were walking the Earth.
She ran off with her guardian and her alpha male to the UK. Her guardian, her father, was always accepting of her friend, and he was always supportive of her. Along the way, Violet pulled a child out of the way of her demise, as the child's mother's knife went straight for her little, terrified heart.
Only three people mattered to her now. She didn't care about anyone else, not even herself. They had to be safe. Soon they came across another group, and though she insisted they stay alone, the others of her little pack pulled her along with them. This new group lead them into a church in London, England and there they stayed for what only seemed like days, but was almost a year..
On a scavenging trip, her father was stopped by a terrifying monster. It held her father there, staring down at it, and her father was frozen in place. He opened his mouth, his daughter's name slipping out, but his command to run was stopped as the monster threw up into his mouth, it's enormous tongue flooding into her father's throat. Her father was being drowned and ripped apart from the inside out before Violet's very eyes. The monsters got to them, and they were killing her guardian. She only froze for a second before sprinting back to the church and back into her alpha male's arms.
She married him, her alpha. It was the dumbest marriage ever. They hid in a closet and whispered their promises to each other. She was only fifteen and he was only sixteen, but he wanted to make sure Neverland would still be there for her. In that dreamland, she married a prince who made her feel like a goddess, and he wanted to make sure he could use his last bit of energy, his last years of life to give that to her. She meant everything to him, and she loved him with every part of herself.. This being only a glimpse of happiness in such a grim place. It didn't really qualify as an actual marriage, but it was real to them.
It was pouring rain and now two additions to her pack, and the ones from before were stuck on a roof of an old house. Monsters surrounded them, and they couldn't do anything but wait.. of course, something bad had to happened.. One of the additions was sick, and they didn't know why. This girl kept coughing and coughing and her eyes kept getting so cloudy. She was so warm, but her skin was so clammy.. and now, the roof was caving in, the rain was beating on it too hard, and there was too much weight on it as it was. What Violet viewed as another chance, the child she'd saved, was now in her arms.. but the child's body was dangling over a hole in the roof. The little arms she possessed were grasping on for life around Violet's shoulders, and Violet was using all of her strength to bring her up. She kept slipping and falling.. everyone was screaming at her to just let the little girl go. She couldn't do that! She couldn't just drop her! She'd die.. but she had to.. Violet looked down into her little chocolate eyes. She was so sweet, the little girl, she looked just like a doll, and she'd never hurt anyone or anything.. but it was either this or eternal fear of what would happen next. The girl begged and pleaded for Violet to keep trying. A whispered apology escaped Ms. Crowthorn's chapped lips and the girl's head lowered, biting her lip and she whimpered and yelped. Violet dropped her and her eyes latched onto the horrid sight of the blood pooling, and the body splattering. The woman who'd grown sick now sprung up and sunk her teeth into the other addition. Violet's alpha kicked the monster away and she went tumbling down with the others. Violet crawled over as fast as she could, and the other addition had his arm pressed onto the wound, his eyes wide as they stared up, 'into the light'. Violet screamed at him, not wanting him to go. Her husband couldn't take it, and kicked again, sending the man falling as soon as he closed his eyes. Then her husband held her tight and rocked her and sang to her until she escaped back into Neverland and her fears were sung away. Overnight, the monsters lost their interest and began scattering away, and that's when the alphas snuck back to the chapel.. away from the flesh-eating, undead abominations.
The people of the church claimed that the monsters outside were a test from God.
Would God let her pack melt away?
A man at the church soon grew infatuated with Violet. He would constantly stare and any chance he'd get, he'd take her away and all for himself. No one believed her when she'd tell them. Not even her alpha male, her husband..
Violet didn't believe in killing a living person, but once she'd found the bite on his arm. When that man was using those talons to scrape her skin, she saw the teeth marks. Perfect.
She took a decorative spear in the storage room, one her husband had found when they were looking for bandages, and they'd made dirty jokes about. Violet lead the man into a room, tricking him into believing she finally wanted him too.. and when she told him to close his eyes, and stand with his back against the wall.. she stabbed it straight into his chest.
The people of the church found the monster he'd turned into later that day. On the floor in large, dark letters, she'd smeared the words, "WHERE IS YOUR GOD NOW?"
Before Violet ran off, she snuck back to her husband and begged him to come along. He admitted that he couldn't. He wasn't strong enough anymore. Reluctantly, she left him, but not without hearing the sound she knew too well.. a gunshot, and the splattering of brains.
She was all alone now. A lone wolf in a world filled with monsters.. but at least she had her memories.. She could drift herself into Neverland sometimes.. by telling the little jokes and saying the things her pack would. Her husband called the monsters, "flesh-feasting fuckers" and "meat-munchers". Funny things like that.
Her father showed her how to make neat little things, like grills with mint boxes..
The little girl reminded her about how beautiful the world was. Just like Violet thought when she was little, when her mother was alive.
Maybe now Violet could find another pack.. hopefully before she turned sixteen.
