Carter E. Paisley
18 - Survivor
Gail. Eastern. 20.
18 - Survivor
Personality:
* Smart and tactful. As soon as she learned that the world had suddenly turned post-apocalyptic overnight, she formed a plan, using her horsemanship skills to her advantage.
* Untrusting. She knows that everyone is desperate now and although she's scared and lonely, she's very wary of other people. Especially the ones that keep trying to bite her.
* Compassionate. Although she is looking out for herself mostly, she was once a very compassionate person and old habits die hard.
* Determined. It seems hopeless that she'll ever be reunited with her brothers and unlikely that they're even alive, but since she doesn't have anything else to do, she will continue looking for them.
* Witty. Before shit hit the fan, Carter was considered the funny one among her siblings. Her humor was quick and witty, but nowadays, there's little to laugh about.

History: Carter grew up on a horse ranch and learned to ride a horse long before ever learning to ride a bike. Her family was tightly-knit, her being the youngest with two older brothers. Both brothers were away at school when the outbreak hit. Her father, who wasn't known to get in fights, came home from town one day clearly shaken and beaten up. He wouldn't say what happened and went straight to bed, claiming to feel ill. That night, Carter woke up to her mother's screams and found her father chewing on his wife's shoulder. The teen saddled her horse and fled. A born and bred horsewoman, she visited another farm -- having no desire to return home -- and stole a second horse to use as a pack animal. Right away, she set about training the horses to respond to vocal commands and secret words in the case that someone tries to steal them from her. She wants to track down her brothers, but one went out West for school and the other, East.
