To say the last few days or as it been weeks had been rather terrifying for beth. Leaving the farm had been an adventure for her and it had turned into a nightmare, she had been lucky enough to meet with a girl of the name carter to try and safe her. She didn’t think she would have been able to make it without her. She was really thankful for the help she had managed to get and was not making her way down somewhere she had no idea where she was heading. She didn’t think it was the way back to the farm but at this point she simply was exhausted and wanted to just sleep for a little while without having to worry so much.

It was of course a lot harder now that she didn’t have Carter. It was easier when you had someone to watch your back and maybe it would have been smarter to stay with Carter. But she couldn’t follow her around like a lost puppy. It was not smart and really she wanted to go home. It was in moments like this that you realized just how much you actually missed home. It was still day time so she still had time before she needed to go and settle for the night but for that she would need to find a spot for her to do just that. It was not like she could simply go to sleep whenever she wanted.

Beth had been walking for a little while when she heard the faint noise that she knew so well. People talking. She could feel her heart trying to beat its way out of her chest and her breath quickening slightly. She walked over slowly to where she heard the noise and stood far away thinking that it was a good spot to make sure she wouldn’t get caught. Seemed like these people had a camp, people that had fund another way to live and make it out alive. Part of her wondered if maybe she should make her way over to them but she was also scared. There was no telling if these were bad people or not. Instead she stood there for a little while wondering what her next step should be.

Daryl threw his arms up in a huff, having one of his redneck tantrums. All he had done was make one little suggestion, but no one seemed to think he was qualified to be doing such and blatantly ignored him. He stalked away from the scene, only turning back to flip off the small sub-group. 'I don't need this shit. Them assholes can hunt fer themselves,' he thought, trekking into the woods.

The woods were like a second home (or even his primary home since his homelife hadn't been great growing up) and he hadn't gotten far before sensing something or someone nearby. He wasn't even sure what had gotten his attention...a stick cracking underfoot or leaves rustling, or maybe that there were no small critters scurrying away at his approach which would mean something else had already caused them to scurry. Daryl paused and looked around, his sharp eyes cutting through the foliage like it wasn't even there, looking for anything that was out of the ordinary.

He saw her, just some blond chick and nodded his head toward her dismissively, ready to move on. Wait, back up. He stopped and turned to look at her again, not recognizing her. "Are you from camp?" he asked, narrowed eyes daring her to lie to him. Either way, she didn't seem like a threat, especially if she was alone, which she seemed to be.

Beth should have known better than to simply hang here and hope that they were not going to see her. But at the same time she was pretty sure that from where they were, they couldn’t and she never though that someone would be able to sneak up on her. It was clear that the blonde woman still had a lot to learn when it came to this world. But she couldn’t really be blamed for it considering that she barely knew how the world really was out there. She had been sheltered from it for so long.
But she was slowly learning she still had a lot to learn but hopefully she would manage to make it work, she would be able to find her way back to the farm and tell her family that she loved them. She had not even been able to let them know she was leaving, she had been sure she would have been able to come back a lot sooner, but this was done with and now she was stuck. She heard the noise behind her far too late to do anything and soon her hand moved to her side so she could reach for the small knife she carried with her in case it was a walker. It didn’t take long for her to realized that the man standing in front of her was just as human as she was.
She shook her head slightly scared. It was not because someone was human that it meant that they were nice she knew that. She might have been sheltered from the bad things for the better part of her life but it didn’t mean that she was stupid either. “I am not…not from around here either…” she whispered.
