Personality:
Carl is a kind hearted boy, who now finds himself trying to cope with all the dramatic changes his life has suffered. He is a sociable person but, he is also reserved and wary of new people. He prefers to wait until he has gotten to know someone well to feel comfortable with them. He is shy like that. Like any boy of his age he is very energetic and curious, he likes to learn new things and explore his surroundings.
Sometimes he wanders off too far away, to the point of being reckless. He loves the people closest to him and would do anything for them, even risk his own well being to protect them. He often worries about his mother and after his father death he is afraid he will lose her too. That’s one of the things that scare Carl the most. He feels very fearful of the zombies and often screams and runs away from them on sight.

Carl lived with his parents. He went to school every day like most boys of his age. One day outside of his school door. His mother informed him his father had been shot on the job. His mother held him as he cried, anguished for the fate of his father. His mother and him, would often visit Rick at the hospital as he would lie in a comma. Carl wanted his father back but, he wasn’t really sure if he would ever wake up. Nevertheless, he would hope for the best. He wasn’t dead yet after all, a small torch remained lighted in his heart. Shane would check on them, and make sure they were alright. Then one day people started to turn into zombies.
Lori and Carl were rescued by Shane. Because of him they were able to leave their home safely. Not everyone was so lucky. Carl was deeply saddened to hear his father had passed away. He tried his best to cope with the loss and at the same time deal with this new reality. Shane took them all the way to Atlanta but, the city wasn’t as safe as they would have hoped. Carl and his mother now stay at a camp with other people. He has become the best friend of Sophia Peletier and accepted Shane as a father figure in his life.
