this 313-acre botanical garden on the middle oconee river serves as a cultural, educational and recreational facility and is one of athens' most-visit. well, at least that's what the catch phrase use to be. suppose it's not such a beautiful place anymore, but who knows?

the georgia theatre is a prominent music venue in athens, georgia, located in an old cinema. many prominent acts from the early music of athens, georgia performed at the theatre, including a range of folk, popular and country acts. probably deserted mostly now, and crawling with walkers.

sanford stadium is the on-campus playing venue for football at the university of georgia in athens, georgia, united states. the 92,746-seat stadium is the seventh largest stadium in the ncaa. curious how many walkers are in it, especially if the outbreak happened with a full stadium. crawling with walkers no doubt, but might have supplies in it.

the 40 watt club is a music venue in athens, georgia. along with cbgb's, the whisky a go go, and selected others, it was instrumental in launching american punk rock and "new wave music." that's all a thing in the past now though, it's got a lot of goodies... if you know what we mean, but not so helpful since it's mostly crawling with walkers.

Home of the 1996 Olympic games now filled with walking paths, water gardens & the Fountain of Rings. Sounds thrilling, but I doubt it works. It might still have some water though, maybe there's even survivors here!

stegeman coliseum is a 10,523-seat multi-purpose arena in athens, georgia, united states. the arena opened in 1964. it is home to the university of georgia. it's literally abandoned. you may find a few stray walkers here, and there. for the most part, it's clear, from what we can see.

Museum known for its diverse art collection & modern architecture by Richard Meier & Renzo Piano. Hm, probably not much use now. For the most part it's empty except a few stragglers' still wandering around.

there are a lot of houses in here, apartments too. some might be safe, others' might look safe, but not all things are as great as they look. boarded up windows' could mean that there are survivors' inside, sure, but who knows if they're still alive?

Forsyth Park is a large city park that occupies 30 acres in the historic district of Savannah, Georgia. The park is bordered by Gaston Street on the North, Drayton Street on the East, Park Avenue on the South and Whitaker Street on the West. It's pretty deserted, night and day. rarely any dead hang around here. might be a nice resting place.

Old Fort Jackson is a restored 19th century fort located two miles east of Savannah on the Savannah River. It is a National Historic Landmark and the oldest standing brick fort in the U.S. state of Georgia. It's deserted, no really, there isn't a walker for miles. Someone could definitely use it as a hideout.

Bonaventure Cemetery is a public cemetery located on a scenic bluff of the Wilmington River, east of Savannah, Georgia. It's got walkers' around each corner, but if you can figure out the maze through it you're a lucky bastard.

Grayson Stadium is a stadium in Savannah, Georgia. It is primarily used for baseball, and is the home field of the Savannah Sand Gnats minor league baseball team, the Class-A affiliate of the New York Mets. It's crawling with walkers', but most of them seem to be stuck in the field. The stands are pretty clear, and easy to navigate through.
